Chapter one (Vixie)
I intensely watched as Zoey made her
final move and won the place as the top co-ordinator. I sighed, silently to
myself. I am was a HUGE fan of Dawn, but Dawn, my favorite co-ordinator lost in
an action- filled battle full of strategy and impressive combinations against
Zoey. Suddenly there was a high beeping sound coming from my beloved PokePad
made by Elaine. "Oh, new message from Chloe & Lillipup, okay..." I said to
myself and read it:
Where's Tim, the pizzaman? i've been waiting for
hours!
I clicked the reply button and typed in:
Idk, but the
Moon Festival is in 5 min. meet u at ur house or mine? Bring Lilli!
Instantly, I received a message back from the pizza-eager Chloe...
NO!!!
I'M NOT MOVING UNTIL THE PIZZAMAN COMES!!!
This isn't the first time
I've had to convince Chloe to do something dealing with pizza. I just use the
same excuse each time to get my way:
Hey, i heard that Tim's going 2
sell pizza at the Festival and they have TONS of fashion stuff and etc. u've
gotta come with me 2 the Co-ordinator shop and Elaine's shop, too! Tomorrow’s
our last chance in a while!

As always, Chloe agreed with the pizza and
decided to meet me at my house.
I grabbed my brown pouch to hold items I bought
at the Moon Festival and my
Lunar membership card, gestured for Eevee to follow
me, and stepped
outside, waiting for Chloe. In less than 5 seconds Chloe came
dashing
towards me (still pizza-eager).
"So," I began to start a
conversation, not pizza related, "Tomorrow’s the day we start our journey, I'm
buying some co-ordinator must- haves, berries, and supplies for Eevee. What
about you?"
Chloe thought about it for a while, "I'll probably buy
essentials, too and I heard Tim is going to travel real soon and his pizza
totally ROCKS! So maybe we could ask him if he wanted to travel with us, I
mean
we do need a cook!"
"That might actually be a good idea,
because neither
of us can cook well except for making oran and cheri berry
poffins!" I
suggested. The rest of our walk was in silence, but soon we
reached the light-
glowing, attractive Moon Festival, but of course we
first needed to pick up the
kimonos of our choice. Each year I
picked
my personal favorite: a kimono made with light pink fabric and speckled
with a light hue of scarlet blossoms.
To match the blossoms’ leaves, I
typically put my dark brown hair in a
bun using a leaf festoon, but this
year, I wanter be have my blue tips of hair
would be worn down in honor of
my favorite Pokemon co-ordinator, Dawn from
Twinleaf town. I even would
wear a
different blue kimono covered in stars and clouds that I could see
in the
distance. It seemed to glow in the
dark, so I might even buy
it from them!
Finally it was our turn to rent a kimono for
the traditional
Moon Festival. I picked the one
that seemed to glow
among the rest and questioned if I could buy it for a simple
price. The
man handling the
kimonos smiled knowing he could get a good bargain of a
kimono at the Moon
Festival and agreed to sell it for eight dollars, a
rather low price for such an
attractive kimono. Full of
excitement,
we marched in to the dressing rooms.
I was amazed when Chloe came out
in the kimono
she’s selected. It was a light
hue of red with several
macaroni- colored stars and white sparkles dispersed
everywhere. Her hair
was in a
ponytail held up by a red ribbon.
“Chloe, you look amazing
in red!”
I complimented.
“Thanks,” Chloe smiled warmly.
I
just love Chloe’s smiles!
It also makes you feel at home and as if you
belonged anywhere she
was. If there were a contest for
the most
amazing smile, Chloe would win it by a landslide in a millisecond! “Eevee looks
wonderful, too,” Chloe
knelt down and stroked my beloved Eevee’s soft, tan
fur.
I nearly forgot I tied a puffy blue bow that matched the tips of my
hair
on Eevee’s delightful tail.
“Thank you, Chloe!” I replied,
“Don’t forget,
it’s also essential to dress-up your Pokemon as they
wish.”
“I guess, but I’m still thinking about whether or
not I should be a Pokemon Watcher, Pokemon Co-ordinator, Pokemon Master,
Pokemon Greeter, Pokemon Doctor…or what ever…” Chloe looked towards the
sky. The moonlight seemed to
bounce off
everything.
“C’mon, remember the first, main event is
watching the annual moonlight in the stadium as Toms’s and Flora’s Pokemon
dance in the moonlight!” I grabbed her arm and practically dragged her all the
way to the middle of the Moon Festival, the Pokemon Battle Stadium and
place the
moonlight dance was to be held!
